A double-layered jacket — organza laid over lama silk — hand embroidered in the Atelier with qasab, kacha resham, kamdani and zardozi worked across both layers, the techniques chosen so the under-layer reads through the organza in soft suggestion rather than full reveal. Hand-finished tassels fall from the side slits, the sleeves, and along the jacket itself, each one weighted to move with her. Paired with a Azaar worked in spiral embroidery and fine kundan detailing, and a dupatta finished with a contrasting lilac border on all four sides and scattered chan. Completed with a hand-shaped butterfly pouch — the piece in the collection we kept on the table the longest.
