Poudre is quiet luxury. It's cut in pure raw silk in a warm mink tone, with a soft natural sheen that shifts in the light.
The embroidery is made with pre-appliqué. Each motif is embroidered and shaped on its own, then set onto the silk, which gives the florals a raised, dimensional finish. Damask-style scrolls, curling paisleys, and open blooms are worked in blush, powder blue, and ivory. They are mirrored down the centre of the shirt and highlighted with small mirrors and sequins that catch the light.
The neck opens into a finely embroidered placket lined with tiny dot motifs. The design builds from the neckline into a central medallion and settles into a deep embroidered border at the hem, finished with delicate lace edging.
The wide sleeves carry the florals down to embroidered cuffs with the same lace finish.
It's paired with matching mink trousers. The silk dupatta ends in a sheer organza pallu in powder blue, which frames the look in a softer colour.
